Creating a Space for Boudoir at KAP

Hi friend!

Sooo I have recently taken a huge step in my photography career and am adding boudoir photography into the services my business provides! I am so excited about this addition both because boudoir is an art form that I love, and because of all the amazing people I am going to have the opportunity to meet, serve, and become friends with.

Thus far, every decision I have made in my business has been made with forethought and intentionality. That being said, I would love to let you know why I chosen to make a spacial space for boudoir in my business. I hope that this explanation will help you respect it the way I do, as an art form, rather than as anything less.

First off, different styles of photography speak to different souls. So just as a killer branding session can give a major boost to a small business owner, so to an intentional boudoir session can boost a woman.

Secondly, like with most things, people don't know you do it if they don't see you doing it. So in order to be able to serve more people well I first need them to see I am willing and able to serve them in that way. Thus, why I have created a special space for boudoir within all of my business platforms. The tricky part about boudoir is that it truly is an art form that stands alone. It requires it's own spaces and places and I am willing to put in the work to make sure I respect that requirement.

Thirdly, I just love making friends and serving people to the best of my ability along the way. When you create a space for people they will come. Making this service a visible part of my business is creating a space, and I am so excited about all the people I will meet and lives I will be able to touch here.

So, that is my spiel. I would like to make it clear that I am not sharing my reasoning because of a need to explain. But rather I like people to know what I'm doing with my business. I put a lot of thought into how I run my business and for the sake of being as personable as possible I like to share my thought process sometimes.
